IT Remote Access: NGA SBU Microsoft Outlook Web Application (OWA)
Instructions for Accessing NGA SBU Microsoft Outlook Web Application
This guide instructs NGA users on how to access NGA SBU email through the Microsoft Outlook Web Application (OWA) without being logged into an SBU remote desktop session.
Step 1. You must have a Common Access Card (CAC), CAC reader, and the DoD root certificates installed on the device being used. If you need assistance with CAC setup, please visit the CAC 123: NGA Employee CAC Resources site for instructions on setting up your CAC and installing PKI/PKE certificates.
Step 2. Open your internet browser and go to https://myowa.nga.mil/owa .
Step 3. At the Sign In page, enter your NGA SBU email address and click “Next.”
Step 4. A certificate pop-up will appear. Select your certificate and click “OK.”
Step 5. A Smart Card pop-up will appear. Enter your CAC PIN and click “OK.”
Step 6. You will be prompted to stay signed in. Click “Yes” or “No.”
Step 7. Your SBU Microsoft Outlook Web Application will load for your use.
