SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a firm fixed price delivery order under the Intelligence Community-wide Enterprise License Agreement (IC-ELA) for Microsoft Enterprise Software to Minburn Technology Group, LLC of Great Falls, Virginia. The overall IC-ELA contract value is $15.6 million and provides services for a 12-month period. 

May 24, 2024

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a task order for the Vertex-OASIS Pilot, under the General Services Administration’s OASIS indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract vehicle, to Booz Allen Hamilton. The task order provides 48-full time equivalents for staffing support and technical operations services across a range of mission-critical areas. The Vertex task order has a ceiling of $49.6M, a base year value of $11.8M, and three option years. 

April 12, 2024

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a task order to Blue Tech, Inc of San Diego, California. The task order renews existing Quest software licenses and provides maintenance support for the applications. The initial task order award is $9.5 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded the Chinook indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to Leidos, Inc.  The contract extends existing services in support of software development, systems engineering, integration, operations and sustainment, and will be performed at Gaithersburg, Maryland; Tucson, Arizona; Chantilly and Fairfax Station, Virginia; and St. Louis, Missouri. The initial task order award is $33.5 million with a ceiling of $86.4 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity Maru contract to Leidos, Inc. of Reston, Virginia. The contract extends existing software services that support modernized, integrated and interoperable analytic capabilities. The initial task order award is $81 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity Summit contract to the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The contract provides the development, maintenance and provision of geospatial data and products. The total value of the five-year contract is $139 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded the Foundation GEOINT Modernization task order under NGA’s Blanket Purchase Agreement to Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. of Redlands, California. The task order extends existing cloud, database and software development services on Esri’s proprietary systems. The overall value of the two-year task order is $56.2 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a task order for Red Hat products to Flywheel Data, LLC of Arlington, Virginia. The task order renews software licenses to enable dynamic scaling capabilities across networks. The renewal period is 12 months. The agreement is valued at $9.7 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded four indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) research development contracts to Booz Allen Hamilton of McLean, Virginia; Lockheed Martin Corporation of Herndon, Virginia; Reinventing Geospatial, Inc of Fairfax, Virginia; and Solis Applied Science, LLC of Charlottesville, Virginia. The contract provides research and development services and support within NGA’s Research and Development Directorate. The total value of the five-year contract with a two-year optional extension is $794.1 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a time and materials and cost-plus-aware fee collection data matching fabric contract to Raytheon Company of Richardson, Texas. The contract provides development and sustainment of capabilities to connect geospatial-intelligence suppliers and user requests. The contract includes a one-year base performance period plus four 12-month options and the total value of the contract is $52 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity geospatial-intelligence modeling contract to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems, Integration, Inc. of San Diego, California. The contract provides development, integration and sustainment of analytic modeling capabilities, integrating or replacing those previously developed under the NGA Analytic Services Contract. The total value of the five-year contract is $183 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a six-month contract modification to the Acadia contract to Peraton Technology Services, Inc., of Chantilly, Virginia. The Acadia contract provides imagery science expertise and infrastructure support to NGA’s image quality and integration testing missions. Contract work is performed at NGA locations in Springfield, Virginia and, St. Louis, Missouri, and contractor’s facilities in both locations. The modification is valued at $24 million, resulting in an overall contract value of $130 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a contract modification for the research development contract to Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., of Mclean, Virginia. The modification extends the task order one year and provides research and development subject matter expertise to identify, explore and transition new path-breaking capabilities into operations. Contract work will be performed at government and contractor facilities in Springfield, Virginia; Fort Meade, Maryland; St. Louis; Dayton, Ohio; Denver; Las Cruces, New Mexico; Burlington, Vermont; Goodyear, Arizona; Manhattan, Kansas; Medford, New Jersey; Melbourne, Florida, and Princeton, New Jersey. The modification is valued at $52 million, resulting in an overall contract value of $362 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a delivery/task order for ServiceNow Software maintenance to Carahsoft Technology Corporation of Reston, Virginia. The delivery/task order fulfills NGA’s requirement for cloud-based information technology asset management, automation IT management and change management workflows. The access to, maintenance and renewal period is 12 months. The agreement is valued at $7.9 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract to Quadrint, Inc. of McLean, Virginia. The contract provides application, infrastructure and security accreditation services to support NGA’s corporate business systems, databases and applications. The total value of the contract is $275 million, including a base year value of $7.7 million for the first task order. Additional task orders will be issued based on agency needs over the 7 year contract ordering period.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded multiple indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts to companies to provide support to NGA’s total lifecycle acquisition management, strategic financial management and strategic business management activities. The companies include Credence Dynamo Solutions, LLC of Vienna, Virginia; Compass, Incorporated of Winchester, Virginia; Exacta Solutions, LLC of Arlington, Virginia; Innovate Now, LLC of Beavercreek, Ohio; and Logic Gate, LLC of Chantilly, Virginia. These companies will compete for eight individual task orders across the five-year ordering period and $947 million contract value.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract to the Bailey IT Consultants of Stafford, Virginia and LMR Technical Group of Dallas, Texas. The contract provides administrative and executive assistants in support of mission requirements. Each contract is a multiple-award IDIQ with a five-year ordering period. The total value of the contract is $92.5 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded multiple indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts to 13 companies to provide contracted intelligence and foundational analysis encompassing the tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination functions of geospatial intelligence. The companies include 3GIMBALS, LLC of Miami, Florida; BAE Systems of Rockville, Maryland; Booz Allen Hamilton of McLean, Virginia; Castalia Systems, LLC of Tampa, Florida; Continental Mapping Consultants, LLC of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin; Geo Owl, LLC of Wilmington, North Carolina; Leidos, Inc of Reston, Virginia; ManTech Advanced Systems International, Inc of Herndon, Virginia; Novetta of McLean, Virginia; ProCleared, LLC of Chantilly, Virginia; Royce Geospatial Consultants, Inc of Arlington, Virginia; Solis Applied Science of Falls Church, Virginia; and Thomas & Herbert Consulting, LLC of Laurel, Maryland. The companies above will compete for individual task orders across the seven-year ordering period and $900 million contract value.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a contract to the Applied Physics Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University of Laurel, Maryland. The contract provides software, testing, integration, prototype demonstrations, proof-of-concept development and workflow development. The ordering period for the contract is five years with no option periods. The total value of the contract is $29.1 million.

April 11, 2023

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a contract to RiVidium, Inc. of Vienna, Virginia. The contract supports and sustains the NGA cybersecurity program. The contract award consists of a six-month base period with seven and half option years. The total value of the contract is $249 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a contract to Vysnova Partners, Inc. of Landover, Maryland. The contract provides research mission support services including administrative, financial, strategic and program management support for existing and planned R&D programs. The total period of performance of the contract is one year plus four option years. The total value of the contract is $93 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a task order to Oracle America, Inc. of Reston, Virginia. The task order provides a renewal of software licenses and database maintenance. The order is valid through March 2024 and is a valued at $22.3 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a task order to Dell Federal Systems L.P. of Round Rock, Texas. The task order provides a renewal of existing licenses and the addition of new software licenses. The order is valid through February 2024 and is a valued at $14.7 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a contract to Azimuth Corporation of Beavercreek, Ohio. The contract provides technical and subject matter expertise for research and development programs, market research on state-of-the-art technologies, technical analysis of new concepts and capabilities and technology transfer and transition activities. The contract is for a 12-month base year plus four option years. It is valued at $143 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a task order to Flywheel Data, LLC of Arlington, Virginia. The task order provides NGA with licenses to Red Hat products that enable scaling of capabilities across server networks. The order will last through February 2024 and is valued at $9.7 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a contract for learning management and support services to Noblis Inc., of Reston, Virginia. The contract will procure contractor support for the National Geospatial-Intelligence College to develop and manage high quality learning solutions. The total period of the contract is five years. The value of the contract is approximately $78.9 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract modification to Earth Science Support to Applied Research Laboratories at the University of Texas. The contract ceiling has been increased to $171.3 million. The contract runs through December 15, 2026.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a task order for software maintenance to Textron/Overwatch Systems, LTD, fof Sterling, Virginia. The task order provides NGA with maintenance and licenses for software that is utilized as part of Integrated Exploitation Capability analyst workstations. The task order runs through Dec. 31 and is valued at $11.1 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract entitled Mantis to Raytheon Technologies of Richardson, Texas. The contract will provide the core capabilities necessary for imagery scientists and imagery analysts to perform non-literal imagery exploitation as web services and desktop applications. The total period of the contract is five years. The value of the contract is approximately $270.9 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract entitled GEOINT Search and Retrieval – Yorktown II to General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. of Falls Church, Virginia. The contract will support NGA’s “Search as a Service” capability, encompassing program management, operations and sustainment, software maintenance, and software development, to include engineering and integration. The total period of performance of the contract is five years. The value of the contract is approximately $88.2 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract entitled for the U.S. Foreign Commercial Imagery Program to Maxar Intelligence, Inc of Westminster, Colorado. The contract will provide U.S. commercial imagery services, analytic product ordering and delivery service, and COMSAR imagery and tasking to foreign partners. The total period of the contract is five years. The value of the contract is approximately $192 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a modification to increase the value of the Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity contracts for Economic Indicator Monitoring to Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., Royce Geospatial Consultants, Inc., BlackSky Geospatial Solutions, Inc., Continental Mapping Consultants, LLC., and BAE Systems. The Economic Indicator Monitoring contract will be used to acquire products, data and services produced from unclassified commercial GEOINT on unclassified networks. This contract will address functional and regional problem sets within five areas of interest: objects of economic significance, high cadence transportation network improvement data, infrastructure monitoring, natural resources and human domain analytics. The contracts were originally awarded with a 5-year ordering period beginning August 2021, and the modifications increased the maximum contract value from approximately $30 to $60 million each.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded the Application Proramming Interface contract to Maxar Intelligence, Inc., of Westminster, Colorado. The contract will utilize Amazon's AWS Simple Storage Service as a new delivery channel for EnhancedView-licensed commercial imagery and Maxar third party content.The total period of performance of the contract is one year plus four additional option years. The total value of the contract award is approximately $13.3 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded the malware deterrence contract to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc., of San Diego, California. The contract will provide operations and sustainment of malware deterrence services. The total period of performance of the contract is five years. The total value of the contract award is approximately $19.8 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded multiple award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts to BAE Systems, of Rockville, Maryland; Booz Allen Hamilton, of McLean, Virginia; CACI Inc., of Chantilly, Virginia; Leidos Inc., of Reston, Virginia and ManTech Advanced Systems International Inc., of Herndon Virginia. The contract will provide access to industry capabilities that enhance GEOINT mission operations. The ceiling for the requirements under the contracts is $500 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded the Software Maintenance Renewal contract to Oracle America, Inc., of Reston, Virginia. The contract will provide software maintenance and support services. The total period of performance of the contract is one year. The total value of the contract award is approximately $22.3 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded the Foundation GEOINT Modernization Support Renewal contract to the Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc., of Redlands, California. The FG MOD contract will provide software development services to facilitate development of the FG MOD based geographic information system platform supporting the data management and production workflows. The total period of performance of the contract is two years. The total value of the FG MOD contract award is approximately $74 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded the Global Service Proxy II Bridge contract to Raytheon Company of Richardson, Texas. The GSPII Bridge contract will provide highly specialized services to continue to develop, deploy and maintain the GSP releasability, cross domain system. The contract includes a one-year base, two one-year options and two three-month options for a total period of performance of 3.5 years. The total value of the Oceania contract award, including all options is approximately $131 million

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded an earth sciences support contract to the Applied Research Laboratories at the University of Texas at Austin. The earth sciences support contract provides research, development, testing, evaluation, integration, operations and maintenance of earth science software, hardware and equipment requirements in two functional areas – geophysical modeling and geodetic surveys. The contract has an estimated overall value of approximately $54.6 million over a five year ordering period.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a software maintenance renewal contract to Overwatch Systems Ltd. of Sterling, Virginia. The contract renewal will continue to support the agency’s critical need to provide a standard geospatial toolkit to the Department of Defense Command, Control and intelligence community. The contract includes a one-year period of performance with the total task order value of approximately $10.6 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded the User Facing and Data Center Services contract to General Dynamics Information Technology of Herndon, Virginia. The UDS contract will provide a full suite of user facing and data center IT services on multiple networks and security domains at multiple locations worldwide. The single award IDIQ includes an ordering period of five years and five twelve-month award term incentive years with a guaranteed minimum of $5 million and a maximum ceiling of $4.5 billion. includes a one-year base and four one-year options for a total period of performance of five years.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded the Oceania contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Oceania provides operations and sustainment support to GEOINT capabilities throughout the system lifecycle to enable NGA's international policy of sharing GEOINT in a bidirectional, mutually beneficial way. The contract includes a one-year base and four one-year options for a total period of performance of five years. The total value of the Oceania contract award, including all options is $28 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a task order for enterprise data governance support under the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for Information Technology Enterprise indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract to Technical and Management Resources, Inc. of Fairfax, Virginia. The enterprise data governance support task order will provide NGA with necessary technical support services staffing in database administration, engineering and management; data storage administration; software administration and development; website administration and development; systems administration; SharePoint administration and development; graphics; systems security configuration management; and software applications customer service. The SITE IDIQ awarded by DIA in March 2021 has a five year ordering period with five one-year option periods and contract ceiling of $12.6B. The task order awarded by NGA has a six month base period with three one-year option periods.  The base year value of the task order is $2,385,208 and total estimated value of the task order is $19,409,062.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a Multiple-Award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity contract for Economic Indicator Monitoring to Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., Royce Geospatial Consultants, Inc., BlackSky Geospatial Solutions, Inc., Continental Mapping Consultants, LLC., and BAE Systems. The Economic Indicator Monitoring contract will be used to acquire products, data and services produced from unclassified commercial GEOINT on unclassified networks. This contract will address functional and regional problem sets within five areas of interest: objects of economic significance, high cadence transportation network improvement data, infrastructure monitoring, natural resources and human domain analytics. The contracts are awarded with a 5-year ordering period with a maximum value of $29,999,999 each. The initial minimum delivery orders are issued for $15,000 each.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a contract for GEOINT Enterprise Open Data Store to Jacobs Technology, Inc. The GEODS contract will provide design, development and sustainment for OpenDataStore services. The single award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a seven-year ordering period and overall contract ceiling of $302.37 million. The contract work will be performed at the contractor’s facility in Reston, Virginia.

July 30, 2021

SPRINGFIELD, Va.— NGA awarded a contract for Safehouse II to Maxar Mission Solutions of Herndon, Virginia, and Westminster, Colorado. The Safehouse II contract will provide sustainment, development and management of current SAFEHOUSE applications for the period of a year with four, one-year option periods. The contract has a total period of performance of five years with a total value of approximately $61 million, including the base year and all unexercised options.

SPRINGFIELD, Va.—NGA awarded a contract for Oracle Software Maintenance Renewal to Oracle America, Inc. of Reston, Virginia. The Oracle contract will include software maintenance and support for multiple Oracle products for the period from April 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022. The total estimated contract value is $25 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va.— NGA awarded a contract for the Corporate Automation Implementation Center to Deloitte Consulting, LLC, of Arlington, Virginia. This single award contract will support business process design and automation services for applications, systems, and services supporting NGA’s corporate functions. The contract has a total period of performance of five years with a total value of $16,249,595, including the base year and all unexercised options.

SPRINGFIELD, Va.— NGA awarded a contract for Geospatial-Intelligence Access and Information Sharing System Next to Leidos, Inc. of Reston, Virginia. This contract will provide identity, credential and access management services for NGA, the intelligence community and the Department of Defense. The contract has a total period of performance of 10 years with a total value of $187,476,531, including the base period and all unexercised options.

SPRINGFIELD, Va.—NGA awarded a contract for Structured Observation Management, Automation, Augmentation and Artificial Intelligence Framework for Integrated Reporting and Exploitation to CACI, Inc. of Chantilly, Virginia. SAFFIRE provides development, integration, deployment and sustainment of enhanced SOM and computer vision capabilities for NGA. The Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract has a five year ordering period and total estimated contract value of $376.45 million.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a contract for Cartographic Web Services (CWS) to Hexagon US Federal of Chantilly, Virginia. This contract is a continuation of support Hexagon US Federal previously provided to NGA and includes a 12-month base with four 12-month option years. The base is valued at $9 million with a total lifecycle value of $15,000,000.00. This includes the base period and all unexercised options.

The NFE contract will provide foundational engineering support to NGA at the enterprise and strategic level. Foundational engineering services and activities include: configuration management, enterprise scheduling and effectivity management; governance and engineering reviews; standards compliance, definitions, development and management to include the technical reference architecture; enterprise risk management; and systems engineering processes and tools. This contract will provide the Operations and Maintenance of the current Analysis Orchestration Services suite of services. The initial task order has a 1-year base period and four 1-year options valued at $137,403,387.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA awarded a contract for Global Enhanced Geospatial-Intelligence Delivery to Maxar Technologies on Aug. 23. GEGD is a geospatial "production service" and the value is the timely orthorectified (map ready) imagery that it produces and makes available.
 
This is a four-year contract including one 12-month base and three 12-month options. The total estimated value of the contract is $186.4 million, including the base period and all unexercised options. The contract work will be performed in Longmont and Westminster, Colorado.

Aug. 2, 2019

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — NGA provided an initial $11.1 million in funding to The National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for a new effort with the Blue Waters Project, the University of Minnesota and The Ohio State University to produce digital elevation models (DEMs) of the entire Earth, among other geospatial research projects.

The first project between the NGA and NCSA will be EarthDEM, a follow-up to the ArcticDEM project, which was conducted on Blue Waters by the Polar Geospatial Center at the University of Minnesota.

The estimated overall contract value is $85,577,691 with an initial 1-year base value of $18,472,125. The contract encompasses services and supplies necessary to provide operations and sustainment support for the application service provider components of the operational analysis services systems and applications.

These efforts support the management, acquisition, adoption, development, integration and evolution of analytic services, tools and technologies to support geospatial intelligence production and analytic tradecraft.

The contract provides NGA and the agency's customers access to Jeppesen's commercial aeronautical data library and allows for the integration of data into NGA's current aeronautical terminal procedure library.

The total contract ceiling of each awarded ID/IQ contract for large businesses is $450 million and $600 million for each small business.

This contract will help NGA implement innovations to achieve transformation and mission requirements. SPRINGFIELD, Va. — The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has awarded the Aeronautical Terminals Contract to Leidos Inc. The contract includes four ordering periods, for a total period of performance of five years. The total cost value of the definitive contract, including a four-year option period, is a guaranteed minimum of $100,000 with a maximum ceiling of $42,000,000. The effective date of award is Nov. 8, 2017. The aeronautical text contract provides continuation services needed to meet NGA’s requirement for aeronautical data translations, source processing, and flight information publication texts and DVDs. NGA is responsible for providing aeronautical products and services that are critical to support military application, policy decision making and humanitarian relief efforts.
